Autonomous sensing at the edge
Citra Sense turns an astrophotography rig into an autonomous satellite observation station. It picks up tasks for specific satellites, slews the telescope, captures images, and processes everything at the edge before delivering calibrated results back to Citra Core.

How It Works
- Step 01
Install
One command sets up the node with the services its sensors need.
- Step 02
Schedule
The node picks up tasks from Core and plans the night’s observations.
- Step 03
Observe
It slews, captures and keeps the session safe on its own.
- Step 04
Deliver
Frames are processed at the sensor, and calibrated results go back to Core.
What It Does
Autonomous Sessions
Task polling, scheduling, safety and the night’s session run on their own once the site is set up.
Edge Processing
Plate solving, source extraction, photometry and satellite matching happen at the telescope.
Optical and RF
A node can observe with a telescope, an antenna, or both, and installs only the services it needs.
